Studying music theory is studying the foundational language of music. Music theory knowledge deepens a musician’s understanding and appreciation of compositions. It leads to improved performances and better interpretation of music.
This online course aims to provide students with a foundational knowledge of music theory. Taught by University of Maine Professor, Rebecca Mallory, with guest composition speakers including Maestro Lucas Richman, Beth Wiemann and more!
