Our season finale will not dissappoint! Join us as we welcome a large orchestra plus the University Singers and Oratorio Society on stage for Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony.

Gustav Mahler, himself, wrote these words about his Symphony No. 2

During his tenure as Music Director for the New York Philharmonic (for which Mahler was also Music Director from 1909-1911), Leonard Bernstein almost single-handedly led the revival of Mahler’s music. Bernstein’s stirring “Olympic Hymn” pays tribute to values embodied in the Olympics: “Give an example that applies to all: Fight as friends, not as foes.”
