Young People’s Concerts

Now accepting reservations for 2025

The Bangor Symphony Orchestra invites students to attend this year’s annual Young People’s Concerts at the Collins Center for the Arts. This season’s concerts are Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. The 10:00 a.m. show is SOLD OUT.

Lucas Richman, Music Director and Conductor for the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, has made it his mission to instill in young children the awareness of music as an integral part of their lives. The theme chosen for this season’s Young People’s Concerts is “Orchestral Stories.” Each selection will display how composers use the orchestra to tell a story through the unique arrangements of musical notes, gestures and instrumentation.

After your reservation is placed through the online form, we will confirm your order and mail you an invoice this spring after confirming your final numbers. Seats are $3 per person, students and chaperones
