How many years have you played and how many locations have you performed in?

I’ve been playing the clarinet for 23 years. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform in many different venues across North America, Europe, and Asia. Each place and performance has given me a unique experience and helped shaped me as a musician.

What was your first concert experience with the BSO like?

It was an unforgettable experience! I was very excited for my first performance with the BSO. From the moment I stepped onto the stage, I received such a warm welcome from my colleagues. Then, as soon as the downbeat sounded, I knew I was beginning a wonderful new chapter as a BSO musician.

What is your favorite piece you have ever performed?

I really enjoyed the Star Wars concert we did two years ago. I never thought I would get to see the Death Star blow up 17 times in the same day!

What makes the BSO unique to you?

I think what makes the BSO truly unique is the people–both the musicians you work alongside and the community you have the opportunity to serve. I’m very proud of the work the BSO has done to continually grow and improve while keeping classical music alive and accessible in Bangor. It’s something I’m grateful to be a part of.
