Support Our Move Downtown

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Bangor Symphony Orchestra’s move to the historic Nichols Block building on Exchange Street! We are excited to share that we are over 75% to our goal of raising $125,000 for renovations and equipment purchases as we transform this space into the Bangor Arts Exchange, a multi-use community center for the arts. The building now houses our administrative offices, youth orchestra rehearsals, special performances, and much more as we partner with local non-profits and co-tenants Launchpad and the Bangor Ballet.  A gift of any size to this project is appreciated. Designated donation levels include:

  • 1896 Club: $122 for the 122 years since the BSO first performed in the Nichols Block Ballroom (pictured)
  • Percussion Sponsor: $500
  • Lighting Sponsor: $1,000
  • Kitchen Sponsor: $5,000
  • Renovation Sponsor: $10,000+
  • Leadership Circle: $25,000+
